On a wander, where we managed to get hopelessly lost, we spotted these cute little lambs, the first I've seen this year.
I love the expression on this lambs face lol.
Equally as cute ....
This old water pump also caught my eye.

22nd Jan Spring like day
Today was almost like a spring day, the sun was out albeit not very warm and so were the ......
Fishermen on the Menai Straits
A very regal looking swan glided past us while we sat enjoying the sun.
Finally a photo I took yesterday, not your usually pretty type photo, but the type of thing that appeals to me quite a lot.

20th Jan Wet and grey day
Macro photography is a favourite of mine, especially when you get home, crop the photo, and then see little details such as the reflection in this raindrop.
This horse seemed to enjoy using barbed wire to have a scratch, at one point he seemed to be getting dangerously close to gouging his eye out !!
Although not a huge fan of horses, this one also caught my eye, he looked a lot better prepared for the weather than the other one, and I also liked the way the tree framed the photo.

10th Jan Bitterly cold day in the mountains
On Sunday we went off for a photo session in the mountains, we were all shocked at how bitterly cold it was up there. It was frozen fingers within a couple of mins.
The first photo is of one of the wild mountain goats that roam free in the mountains.
Looking across Lake Ogwen towards the mountains, I think I need to look up taking photo's of snow, I'm not happy with the blue hue of the photo's lol
This last one I like, because of the shine on the discs against the matt of the mountains and fence.

January 8th Almost got stuck
Yesterday my daughter and I took a little back lane, and almost got stuck on a steep road, but all turned ok in the end, and by going down this little road I got what I think is the best photo yet with my new camera :o)
I almost missed this beauty sitting on the wall as we drove along !! My best photo so far I think :o)
Along the same lane, is a huge private lake with the Snowdonia mountains in the background, which are all solid pure white now.
This last photo is one I took a couple of days ago, not sure why it appeals to me but it does.

1st January 2010 Snow at last
Well at last some snow fell on Anglesey, not where we live sadly..... but still who cares lol.
A cheeky little robin posing as they so often do lol.
I love the way my daughter captured the blur of the wings as these little birds were feeding
Couldn't resist this photo of winter on Anglesey lol.
If you look closely at the raindrop you can actually see my daughter in the reflection.

Blue moon on the cusp of New Years Eve and New Years Day
Last night was a bit of a rarity, we had what is called a Blue Moon. This is when there has been two full moons in one month, what is even rarer ... is for it to fall on the cusp of New Years Eve and New Years Day. The next time this will happen will be 2028. Although these photo's aren't the best I've ever taken, they are the best I've ever managed to get of a full moon lol.
