Blue moon on the cusp of New Years Eve and New Years Day

Last night was a bit of a rarity, we had what is called a Blue Moon. This is when there has been two full moons in one month, what is even rarer ... is for it to fall on the cusp of New Years Eve and New Years Day. The next time this will happen will be 2028. Although these photo's aren't the best I've ever taken, they are the best I've ever managed to get of a full moon lol.

  1. In case you are wondering the next one is November 21st 2010. The next one on a new years eve is 2028 when it will occur with a total lunar eclipse.
I like both your blogs and I sort of know you from uk hippy, but I'm not on it any more, so don't want to reveal myself having been bullied off there by the hench men with no soul who run the place.
But I really like both your blogs

  2. Thanks for your comment, hopefully I'll have read up more about how to take decent photo's of the moon by November lol.
I'm really pleased you enjoy both my blogs, so thanks for bothering to take the time to leave a message.
Sorry to hear about your experiences on uk hippy, and I understand you wanting to stay anonymous, that's no problem :o)
